About the Reviews:
Because previously it had been argued that a single star rating for an Elfman
score might not take into account that a good score could be poorly represented
on CD, the goal posts have been shifted to allow TWO sets of star ratings, from
0-4. One rating for the score itself (i.e. its quality, originality and appropriateness
for the film) and another for the CD release (i.e. how much is it recommended).
This means that scores like Anywhere But Here might get a good rating
for score, but poor one for CD, judging by its short playing time. However,
some reviewers might feel even a single cue is worth paying out for a CD...
let battle commence! E-mail me with
your reviews - anything over 100 words which shows some thought and attention
to grammar.
