Archiepiscopal Castle, Kroměříž

The archbishop's castle (arcibiskupský zámek), the focal point of the town, was built during the reign of Prince-Bishop Karl Liechtenstein-Castelcorn during the period 1686-1698, but has undergone several changes since. Today it houses an art collection of international significance, as well as a rich library and important music archives. The interior of the castle was used in the film Amadeus.
