BRIEF REVIEW

The film wisely doesn't try to use the Shakespearean text upon which it is based. Hamlet this is not, but the acting is surprisingly decent (only the end is a total disappointment), and Beck responds with something akin to his Buffy gold. Rather than fright music, the soundtrack pits rock and techno (for most of which, see "full credits") against his trademark Buffy wordless voice (Ellen Sugerman) holding a simple touching melodic line. The effect is not wholly satisfactory but certainly a faithful match to the clash of cultures the film attempts to span, and the end credits music goes some way towards mixing the opposing musical styles. Musical credits below notable for the inclusion of Jason Beck.

Webmaster's note: Expect further exposition and musical discussion in future.
